Hey Roamers, ever wonder what it’s like to take a first-class flight with Egypt Air? Well, let me walk you through my journey from Cairo to New York.
First off, comfort: there’s a lay-flat seat that ensures you can stretch out completely, and stars that sparkle in the sky above, creating a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation.
Upon boarding, I was greeted with a hot towel and a welcome drink. Since Egypt is an Islamic country, Egypt Air follows suit, so there's no alcohol on board. They also recite a prayer in Arabic before takeoff, adding a unique cultural touch to the experience.

The amenities were decent. I received proper headphones and a mini baggie filled with travel essentials like a toothbrush, socks, slippers, earplugs, wipes, and even a pen. It's the little things that make a big difference!
Meals are served twice on longer flights like mine, ensuring you're well-fed throughout the journey. The food was also okay, could use some improvements.
Now, onto the unique features I encountered on this flight. The plane was equipped with a universal outlet, making it easy to charge devices regardless of where you're coming from or going. Another standout feature was a nifty sticker you can place on your seat to inform the staff whether you want to be woken up for meals or not—a small but thoughtful detail.
One area for improvement would be the addition of onboard Wi-Fi. However, with the wide array of entertainment options available, it wasn't a major drawback.
Let's talk cost. A round-trip ticket in first class with Egypt Air can cost up to $3,000, which is relatively affordable compared to other airlines. So, while you might not get the same luxury as the top-tier airlines, you still receive excellent value for money.
Overall, flying first class with Egypt Air was a delightful experience filled with comfort, excellent service, and thoughtful amenities.
If you're planning a trip from Cairo to New York, it's definitely worth considering!
